For Akanksha · GutIQ · Chief of Staff, Growth & Scale
How I see GutIQ, and where I'd help.
I'm Alisha Chaudhari. Before our conversation I mapped GutIQ's product-market fit from the outside, using your public site, and worked out where I could take work off your plate. Please correct anything I've read wrong.
Operating principle
Send your time only where it matters. Automate everything else.
What I understood
Three products, one ladder.
Each product needs its own fit, because the customer, the price and the way it sells are different.
Free GutIQ Quiz
$048 questions, about 10 minutes. A score from 0 to 100, your gut type and a roadmap.
Plus / CORE
$200–400 / yrAI advisors, deeper reports and lab uploads. CORE adds 4 doctor consults a year.
PURO 1:1
Via consult4–6 months of testing, biweekly video calls and weekly WhatsApp support. Sold through a consult call.
PMF narrative · six dimensions
Who hurts, why us, and how it makes money.
The conviction labels are my outside view. Pick a dimension to see its map.
Strong evidence it is true: customer words, data or the market already back it.
Sounds right, but there's little proof yet. Validate it with interviews and small tests.
The low-conviction belief that would knock over the most others if wrong. Test it first.

- Will people pay for the app WITHOUT a human?
Built from thegutiq.com and akankshapandey.com.
The riskiest question
Will people pay for GutIQ without talking to a human?
If yes, GutIQ scales like software. If not, growth stops where your calendar stops. My work comes down to two things: send human time only to the leads that need it, and automate the rest.
Measuring PMF
Is it working? Growth plus retention.
No single number proves fit. Sustainable growth plus flat retention means PMF, measured per segment. The numbers here are made up to show the maths; I'd plug in your real ones.
Payback period
- Spend $1,000 on Meta in a month
- 400 people take the quiz
- 8 buy GutIQ Plus, so CAC is $125
- Each earns about $13.30 a month ($200 a year at an 80% margin)
Payback = CAC ÷ (monthly revenue × margin %)
About 9.4 months, inside the 6–18 month sustainable zone
Sales efficiency
- One sales consultant costs $2,000 a month
- They run 20 consult calls
- They close 3 PURO clients
- At an example price of $1,500, that is $4,500
Efficiency = sales revenue ÷ sales team cost
2.25, above 1, so sustainable
New paying users per month, per segment, over six months.
Fewer people upgrade each month, even with the same content. Next: rework the value proposition.
Growth moves only when there is a new post or press feature. Next: find the missing loop.
Steady adds from content and referrals. Next: check payback is sustainable.
Shared gut-type cards and SEO pages bring the next users. Next: protect the loop.
Share of a group still doing the core action: logging weekly or re-taking the GutIQ score.
People take the quiz once and leave. The core action is not the real job.
People drift away slowly. Fix drop-off cohort by cohort, e.g. India vs international.
A core group keeps logging. Grow the segment you have proven.
People leave, then come back, e.g. to re-take the score. Do more of what pulls them back.
Weekly actions split by type. Quick ratio (simplified) = (new + returning) ÷ churned. Above 1.5 is healthy.
Healthy: retained and returning grow, churn shrinks, the quick ratio stays above 1.5.
Warning: churn and returning both climbing means people keep leaving and coming back.
Growing users
Tactics get us started. Loops keep us going.
Linear tactics need the same effort every month. Loops make each group of users bring in the next one.
Low prices suit viral and content loops; high prices suit sales-led loops. GutIQ has both: a free quiz and yearly app plans, plus a 1:1 program sold through a consult. So the hand-off from the free quiz to a consult has to be fast. That is where lead scoring comes in.
Contribution 1 · Lead scoring
Who gets a human, who gets automation.
Every quiz taker gets a score from 0 to 100. Tick what's true for a sample lead to see where they'd go. The weights are my first guess; I'd set them with your real data.
Sample lead
Lead score
At S&P Global I built a unified lead scoring and attribution engine across 4 markets, with one agreed standard, and improved attribution accuracy by 40%. Every month I'd check whether HOT leads really close more, and adjust the weights.
Contribution 2 · Less founder dependency
You keep three hats. I take the other six.
You're the practitioner, the face of the brand and the builder of GutIQ. Here is how I'd split the work so fewer things depend on you.
● You keep
● I take
Proof: at DivineAPI I put a human review gate into the delivery pipeline. It gave 100% factual accuracy and stopped issues before they reached leadership.
Contribution 3 · Less manual work
An engine with no copy-paste.
The tools from the role, joined up so a lead moves from a reel comment to a booked consult without anyone typing it in twice.
Zapier, Make or n8n moves the data between tools. Nothing is copied by hand, no lead is lost.
Drafts follow-ups, summarises calls, tags leads. A human approves anything clinical.
Funnel by channel, conversion, revenue and churn, reviewed every Monday.
Proof: at DivineAPI I built a lead-nurture and reactivation program with 60+ persona-based lifecycle messages against a 30% reactivation target.
What you'd see in 90 days
Three changes you can measure.
Lead score live
Every HOT lead hears from a human within 24 hours.
One flow automated
Quiz to CRM to nurture, with no manual copy-paste.
Your hours back
Founder hours per enrolment tracked weekly, and going down.
